Sabudana namkeen is a crispy and yummy namkeen recipe that can be consumed during fasts. Adding dry fruits and peanuts enhances the taste of this sago pearls namkeen.
Ingredients
Sago pearls - 200 grams (1 cup)
Peanuts - 200 grams (1 cup)
Almonds – 20-25
Refined oil or ghee - to fry
Coconut - 1/2 cup (cut into thin slice)
Sendha salt – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Directions
Getting ready:
1.Take sago pearls in a bowl along with 2 tsp of water and leave them soaked for 5 minutes.
Making:
2.To make the namkeen, heat enough oil in a wok. Once the oil gets heated, fry the sago pearls on low flame in small quantity until they puffs up. After around 5 minutes, sago pearls will cook through then drain them out on a plate.
3.Now fry the peanuts, almonds and coconut separately on low flame in the same oil till they become light brown. Transfer them on a separate plate.
4.Take all the fried ingredient in a big mixing bowl and add sendha salt and black pepper in them and mix thoroughly. Sago pearls namkeen for fast is done and ready to be served.

5.Serve this delicious and crispy sago pearls namkeen as it is anytime of the day.
